Staging: sxg: Add Ethtool functionality enhancement and misc cleanups

Misc. cleanups in the driver.
* Remove debugging code and variables.
* Fix compile time warnings.
* Remove debugging comments.
* Start cleanup of sxg_stats structure. This structure will eventually become
  very small
